HP-OCT Whole-Eye Measurement & Imaging

The next dimension in imaging and metrology

Hyperparallel OCT is a unique 3D spectral imaging technology that can measure over 1000 A-scans per frame at up to 300 frames per second.

Advantages of Hyperparallel OCT include:

  • Insensitive to sample movement for clinical applications due to high data capture rates.
  • Greatly enhanced frame registration due to multiple simultaneous surface measurements
  • Dense B-scan and volumetric imaging over a very fine lateral grid

Technology Backgrounder

As an initial technology demonstrator, we presented measurements on “3D spectral imaging for anterior segment metrology” in a paper given by Trevor Anderson, our Vice President of R&D, in the session on Optical Coherence Tomography and Coherence Domain Optical Methods in Biomedicine XIX on Monday, 9th February 2015 at the BiOS/Photonics West Conference in San Francisco.
